PICES at Meeniyan | 2023

As part of our on-going commitment to delivering a diverse program of contemporary art exhibitions and events to the Phillip Island and Bass Coast community and beyond, we were delighted to be invited to exhibit at the Meeniyan Art Gallery from 28th June to 30th July.

“PICES collaboration with the team at Meeniyan Art Gallery showcased five highly respected mid-career and established Phillip Island artists who had not previously exhibited in Meeniyan before.

The opportunity to expand our footprint of exhibitions to Meeniyan is an endorsement and appreciation of the talent and variety shown in the past four annual PICES Pop Up Exhibitions held in Cowes, where some of these artists launched their exhibiting careers” said Sandra Peeters, President PICES.

A specially curated mix of contemporary art spanned the categories of pottery, painting, photography, sculpture and weaving and were shown in Gallery One at the Meeniyan Art Gallery located at 84 Whitelaw St, Meeniyan during the month of July.
